This is the oldest post on the countdown.Â It has almost been a year since this post came out.Â I was just starting to post again after a very difficult holiday season.Â It is remarkable to think how much things have changed since then.Â Sitting back and writing this post was one of the things that helped turn it around.Â It was done on a break from editing this manuscript I has sitting around for a year collecting dust.Â That manuscript became my first book six month later.Â If there is one other piece of advice that I would give a year later, it is that your life will move as quickly as you push it.Â Time stops for no one, but your life will stay in the same place if you don’t do something to change it.Â I don’t know that I can solve many of life’s mysteries, but I do know that it is always good to take some Advice From An Older Server

David Hayden was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He took his first serving job in 1996. Since that time, he has worked for over a dozen different restaurant companies. He has held both hourly and salaried positions at independent and corporate restaurants. He has waited on over 100,000 guests and trained hundreds of servers.
