On July 26, 2019, PSA and RFS Award negotiators met. These discussions focused on PSA`s concerns about the slow pace of the arbitration decision and the need to reach agreement on a proposed timetable for its resolution. The EPA has entered into the following by-law settlement agreements to correct alleged civil offences related to the use of invalid newts, biomass-based RIN diesel LLC. Washakie will pay a $3 million civil fine. The EPA has achieved a reduction in damages caused by the production of washakies of more than 7.2 million rins by forcing Washakie to purchase and retire an equivalent number of biomass-based diesel RIN. Since Washakie replaced the 7.2 million RINs, the EPA has entered into only by-law settlement agreements to resolve the alleged civil offences resulting from the use by the committed parties of the 7.2 million nil RIN. At this stage, there is no indication that the EPO will amend the supplementary proposal to comply with the September 12 agreement or that the White House has ordered such an amendment. PSA readily confirms that PSA and RFS have agreed on the July 1, 2020 deadline. “President Trump has once again shown that he is a champion of the peasants of our nation and of rural America,” said USDA Minister Sonny Perdue. “The president recognizes that American farmers are the most productive in the world and has found a way to adopt a policy that promotes economic growth and supports our producers. Building on the success of the E15 rule throughout the year, this future agreement brings improvements to the RFS program, making better use of our farmers` production and ensuring that America remains energy dominant. “President Trump`s leadership has reached an agreement that continues to promote domestic ethanol and biodiesel production, support our nation`s farmers and strengthen energy security,” said Andrew Wheeler, EPO Administrator.
“Today`s agreement is the latest in a series of steps we have taken to expand local energy production and improve the RFS program that will lead to sustainable biofuel production to help U.S. farmers.” On 8 August 2019, PSA and RFS participated in a report to the Labour Relations Board, in which PSA informed The Chief Commissioner, Mr Kite, of the agreement.
